Chantelle is a freelance illustrator based in Berlin who favours creating hand drawn personalised maps. Her cute illustrations meticulously recreate items and scenery to produce precious pieces of artwork and bring memories to life.
She studied Illustration & Visual Communication and graduated with honors from the University of Westminster in 2013. Since then she has found her niche and is pursuing her talents.

The story of the personalised map

Four years ago, Chantelle was thinking of what to get her boyfriend for Valentine's day. She wanted to give him something really special and her first thought was to get him a map, as he had always loved them. She didn't know what kind to get, and after a long time contemplating, she decided to draw him a map of all the meaningful places to do with their relationship. She wrote a list of everywhere they shared a happy memory and arranged the places together on the page. When she gave it to him he was so happy and couldn't look away. He said she really had to share this and suggested she sell her maps to customers. Since then she has been developing and improving her style, testing out lots of different pens and styles to find the perfect combination for her distinct personalised maps. She now sells them online and you can purchase your very own map of all your fond memories.
